I am going to go ahead and finish it the way I have my other quilts. So, it will be heavy and warm. I usually buy a $5 blanket for the batting and the least expensive sheets, 200 count for the backing. They are nice, warm, and don't collect alot of stickers, grass, or anything like that if you take them outside. So, it might be cheating a little, but with the weight of the quilt, I figure that this will hold together pretty good. And so far, the first one has.
We might go to Rex Allen days on Saturday, so that will be some fun. :) We haven't been in quite a few years.
We lost Taco to the coyotes, I am a little sad, he was such a cool kitty, but as fate would have it, someone brought another kitten over they wanted to get rid of, and, well, he is a termite, and unafraid of the dogs. Sooo, we will see if "Winchester" will move like a bullet and stay safe. He is another yellow kitten.
Everyone else is good, and staying busy for sure. Sorry about the delay in getting updates, its been hectic and crazy but GOOD!!
Love ya all!!

The quilt looks GREAT!!!!
