I am a believer

I have lived part of my life afraid, afraid of so much, and now, I am living to learn, love, laugh, enjoy all that is presented before me. I am able to be me, and enjoy whom I am, and not compromise what I believe in. Be whom you are, not what anyone believes that you should be. Live your life completely and wholly, for yourself, for your family, friends, and as God would have it be.

I have returned accomplished

Well, its a fine howdy you do, when you start something and then let it hang on, and then hang on some more. What's a person supposed to do when you are counting on them to write or do something and then,.... BAM!! they are not there?

Well, you just need to be patient. Patience is a virtue. Heehee. Anyway..

I am BACK!! Finally after a little over a month of not posting anything. I have accomplished a few things, and have been busy with a few other things, but all in all life has been really good for me.

We finished the ice cream table and chairs, and I just love them in my house. I also finished an Afghan that I started 28 years ago in July, yep, that's right.

One is taken with a flash, one without.
I worked on it off and on, and finally with a little prodding, I put in about 8 to 9 more hours of crocheting, and it is done. Not to shabby, I suppose, but realistically, it should have been done maybe 27 1/2 years ago. It fits on top of a queen bed, so I think its large enough.

I found a video showing how to start and how to finish it, and I am excited because I do want to start another one. So, we will see.

I have worked on ornaments,

(I started these about 4 years ago as well, and so I am going to try to finish these this year as well.)

and have started a picture frame, and need to start a doghouse again, and some other stuff. I have a list a page long with things to accomplish, no have too's, because those become chores and boring and frustrating. Sooo, fun things are funner to do, so we word it that way.

We went out dove hunting and it has been so long, I really enjoyed being out in the country.

We went two weekends and I did ok for not having shot a shotgun in about 25 years or more. I did okay, and they were sure yummy!! Everything is so green, it has really rained where we went, and it was just gorgeous.

I have found a couple of crafts that I want to try to get done for Christmas, and I have the material at home already, so all I need to do is get them cut out, sewn and stuffed, and waalaa, here we go.

So, here is to y'all, have a great weekend and remember you are loved. Look deep inside and love yourself for whom you are, and don't hold grudges cuz they make you look funny!!
