We have a tendency to push out those that we need close. We have a tendency to try to fix and understand by our standards, instead of Gods. We seem to let our pride and our feelings stop us from being whom we really are.
We worry about the I love you's that seem to never come, the I'm sorry's, the I'm here's that really mean that someone is close.
One day, some day, it seems that what makes us realize how close we have always been to that beauty, is when we hit rock bottom. It allows us to see how close we have always been to that. It teaches us growth, strength, courage, it allows us to step out of our boundaries and to allow us to move out in such a way that what we learn has always (we finally realize) been in front of us, allowing us to give from such a deep place inside of our spirits, to love from the depths of our hearts, and to know such peace and joy, we wonder why.
Why we could not see this in the first place, and now it is so clear. Why we let ourselves get caught up in useless and unneeded thought patterns that just drug us down farther and farther until we felt we were in such a trap, allowing us to be used as pawns, and not being able to be us, me.
Today, I received an I love you, one that I have prayed for, their happiness, their joy, their peace, and with that joy and peace comes true happiness and the ability to love from the depths of our hearts, their hearts. I love you too, more than you will ever know.
God has given us each the ability to do this, to learn from Him, from what He has given each and everyone of us. The skills, the talents, the love and tools needed to have a life that is filled with peace and joy. Learning from what I see around me, I only know that I have so much more to learn and grow from, and I am so proud of your growth.
I love all of you.
Every day brings another chance to better ourselves.
